:: Wheelchair Cushions & Seating
Conventional wheelchairs do not have upholstered seating and usually have a flexible slung seat base. Consequently, a cushion is needed for pressure sore reduction or even just for comfort alone. This may be provided by the wheelchair manufacturer but it may be uncomfortable and will in time need to be replaced.
In addition to seating there may be a need for side, back and armrest cushioning.
