Wheelchair Sun & Rain Hood Standard

The wheelchair sun & rain hood combines the features of a sun canopy and a rain hood. It enables the hood to be used as a canopy only, simply by folding the clear vinyl part back to the opague roof panel only.
It comes in one piece and is designed to be easily installed and quickly removed when out and about.

Clear soft vinyl covering
Strong plastic ribs
Clip mounting at sides or rear
Width expandable for manually-operated large wheels if required
The hood requires 4 suitable tubular fixing points - 2 at the handles or pushing bar & 2 at the backrest/ armrest junctions.
The hood is supplied with links at the handle and lower attachment points to cater for different dimensional variations between wheelchairs.
An elasticated bottom secures the hood under the footplates.
The hood can also be quickly peeled-up from the foot plates to tend to the occupant if necessary.
A rear drape panel ensures all-round weather protection (See image below)
